Saraswati

Goddess Saraswati is the Hindu deity of knowledge, music, arts, speech, wisdom, and learning. Radiant in pure white attire symbolizing purity, she sits on a white lotus or rides a swan (hamsa). Her four arms hold a veena (musical instrument), a book (Vedas), a rosary (japa mala), and a water pot. As the divine consort of Brahma and the flowing river of consciousness, she bestows intelligence, creativity, and eloquence. Worshipped especially during Vasant Panchami and by students before exams, she is revered with the mantra "Om Aim Saraswatyai Namaha" as the eternal source of inspiration and the remover of ignorance.
